Great job by the Rockledge Police department with catching a teen doing “car hopping”. Car hopping iswhen a person goes from car to car looking for open doors and than stealing stuff in the car. Actually in this case, car windows were broken so it is a straight burglary. Rockledge has a very good relationship with its citizens. That is one of the reasons the citizens of Rockledge call the police when they see something. They are not afraid of the police, they work with the police. That is the way it should be. Take note police departments of Brevard county. Congratulations to the new chief of police Ron Krueger for continuing what a great job chief John Shockey started.
