I was called by a national publication and asked my thoughts on ex-cons and debt. The article titled, Ex-offenders face big debt challenges after prison was about how criminals come out of prison and have a huge burden to cope with besides the regular stuff that makes reentering society so difficult. I pay my restitution monthly and will continue to pay my debt to society. I just want the general population to understand that a convict reentering into society is not as easy as you might think. I am the only person I can blame for the position I put myself in. I am not bitter at all and I wanted to thank everyone for helping me readjust to society as well as I think I have. It is just another reason for me to keep helping people see that crime truly doesn’t pay.
