The mission of the Reality Check Foundation is to educate teens and young adults to the consequences of bad choices.
Education is the answer, not incarceration. The Reality Check Foundation will incorporate real life experiences, community involvement along with literature to help “at risk” teens and young adults. Being pro-active with teens and young adults “before” they are arrested or worse is the answer and the Reality Check Foundation will partner with other organizations to accomplish this very important objective.
Our signature events:
Annual Golf Outing for Kids and our Annual Bowling for Fun for Kids.
Donations are solicited for these events so that the participating kids do not bear any expense. Kids from lower income families are invited to participate in all Reality Check Foundation events.
Excess funds raised over and above the cost of the events are used in three other ways:
•
Scholarships for low income kids to attend the Reality Check Program live classes. |
•
Costs associated with Mr. Lawton appearing as a motivational speaker for organizations that request his services to speak to groups of kids. |
•
Distribution of Reality Check DVD’s to families and partner community organizations to help kids in making good choices and prevention of criminal activities. |
The Reality Check Foundation helps kids. Many of our Reality Check friends have expressed an interest to help with our programs. Donations to the Reality Check Foundation help families who cannot afford the Reality Check DVD or the live program. Donations of $1000 or more can be directed to a specific amount of DVD’s to be distributed to causes, programs or organizations of your choice. A financial donation is greatly appreciated.
